Yarn and Stitch Niche meets every Saturday afternoon, from 1 pm to 4 pm. Although the name suggests textiles, Yarn and Stitch welcome anyone who wants to sit and craft for a few hours and enjoy companionship. Lead by MACS committee members, Lyn Fleming and Sharron Sutton, the group includes crocheters & knitters, patchworkers, embroiderers, scrapbookers, cardmakers, diamond dotters and more. The Yarn and Stitch members have a tradition of learning how to create a wonderful handmade Christmas ornament or decoration, starting in July each year.
